A brief respite from the incessant Patagonian wind allowed for a view of the moon and a partial reflection of Cerro Madsen on Laguna de los Tres at sunrise. Laguna de los Tres was named for the original party of 3 to successfully summit Mount FitzRoy which lies to the west of the glacier fed lake.
