Windswept Lenga

Evening light illuminates a southern beech tree (known locally as coihue, lenga, & roble) through dark storm clouds on the Chilean steppe between Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine National Park. The tree, typical of the region, has been shaped by the relentless Patagonian wind.
