Mount Fitz Roy is visited by throngs of would be conquerers annually, but the relentless Patagonian winds can bring roiling clouds and foul weather in the blink of an eye and send many climbers packing without reaching the summit. The Andean peak is located in a disputed border region between Chile and Argentina.
